Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC) transforms the overall health of Central Ohio, serving one individual at a time. We are focused on whole-person wellness, available to ALL in Central Ohio who need it, regardless of ability to pay! In 2019 alone, we served over 12,000 patients - with 40% being uninsured - and totaled 50,000+ medical encounters!
Operating out of seven locations, we offer medical care (primary care, dental, vision, OB/GYN, telehealth), behavioral health care, 340B pharmacy, nutritional assistance programs, and more. Working hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning coverage.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Addiction Treatment Navigator is a full-time position for the Addiction Treatment program in Marysville, OH. reporting to the Behavioral Health Director. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative professional with strong planning and administrative skills. Experience and knowledge of the impact of addiction and psychiatric disorders on the overall functioning of the individual related to treatment planning is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
CDCA, Associate degree, BA in Social Work or a related field preferred. Two years of work-related experience in social services preferred. LCDC certification preferred.
Knowledge of and experience in substance use disorder and related issues and understanding of recovery models including harm reduction and relapse prevention.
Experience in successfully working on an interdisciplinary team.
Proven ability to develop and maintain systems of communication, data management, and clinical performance.
Interviewing skills, time management and organizational skills, critical thinking skills, conflict resolution skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to problem solve, exercise sound judgment, define problems/barriers, collect data, make decisions, maintain confidentiality.
Communicating effectively in both written and verbal form.
Knowledge of computer system, electronic medical record, data collection, excel, tracking spreadsheets.
Individual needs to have a solid understanding of the culture of addiction.
Ability to function in a team environment, have good work ethics, and a mature understanding of cultural diversity.
